Wordpress Invision Power Board Integration

InvisionBridge users,

The integration of Wordpress and Invision Power Board has been my passion for the past year, and InvisionBridge has been a great part of a long learning experience, but open source software is ultimately better in every way than a software that is only developed a few developers.

Today, I”m putting the full version script, no limited editions here, of the Invision Power Board and Wordpress integration script for download to anyone, including guests, no registration required.

I hope that developers interested in this project will see what I intended the script to be, where it has succeeded and where it failed, and hopefully get involved and help this new free open source script become what I always intended it to be. An complete Wordpress and Invision Power Board integration script that works across all platforms and environments.

The Wordpress and Invision Power Board integration can be downloaded below, please notice the current bugs, and download the double post fix plugin.

NOTE: due to IPB”s new password encryption all user”s Wordpress passwords are set to default “bridge”, so your members need to login to their Wordpress with the default bridge password and their username and change the password.

Due to an error in the code, all users are automatically mapped to the “contributor” user group on Wordpress, please download the “Role Manager plugin” or visit their official role manager plugin website to download latest version, in order to fix this issue for now.  An updated version of this script with fixes to these issues is underway.
